Location:
Jones Pass is a beautiful flying site just passed Henderson mine on the way up to Winter Park. At an elevation of 12,413 ft, we fly west over looking lush green valleys and back east towards Henderson Mine.

The front facing slope, provides an amazing backdrop to the flying zone. Wind from the SW produces the widest lift band and the best DS conditions due to the steep back side cliff that overlooks Henderson Mine.

Jones Pass is an easy drive with about any car and is less than an hour from Denver.

Directions:
From I-70 take exit 232 towards Winter Park and Berthoud Pass. Just before the road starts climbing up Berthoud Pass you will see a road towards Henderson Mine on the left. Take this road and look for the dirt road fork on your right. It is right before you get to the gated entrance to Henderson Mine. Take this dirt road up until you see your first clearing. You will take a left at the fork in the road that goes up. Stay on this road until you get to the top of Jones Pass.
